VIVALDI/PEGORARO THE FOUR SEASONS OF ITALY

A multimedia performance

Cristiana Pegoraro presents her version of Vivaldi’s famous Four Seasons in an original multimedia, innovative performance, combining an unpublished transcription for piano with Vivaldi’s own sonnets that were the genesis of his musical opus. For a completely immersive experience of the sounds, images, and atmosphere that inspired Vivaldi, the concert incorporates an original and fascinating video projection by internationally renowned photographer Mino La Franca. The evocative landscapes of the regions of Italy will accompany this journey through time, nature, and music. In this modern interpretation of Vivaldi, Pegoraro demonstrates that baroque music is timeless, alive, and relevant.
